Summary
Till has a reputation in Anakt garden, as the kid who always ‘loses’ things. Ivan also has a reputation in Anakt garden, as the kid who always manages to find Till’s ‘lost’ things.
The same routine goes today, Ivan gives Till the book he lost two days ago and made a fess about in class. Till narrows his eyes at him, zooming in on every word of the bastard’s carefully crafted excuse. It’s not that Till is ungrateful, it’s that he is sure as hell Ivan didn’t happen to stumble upon it under a tree.
Till knows Ivan is the secret thief behind all the things he ‘lost’. He just needs to get Ivan to admit it.

“Sure sure,” Ivan responded lazily. “Whatever you say.” Ivan continued eating his lunch as he leaned back into his chair and continued to watch Till draw.

“Eye cream?” he says finally and Ivan watches in horror as his expression teeters on the edge of confusion before it pitches into understanding. “Oh my god, it’s because…” Till’s laugh interrupts his own sentence and Ivan’s stuck oscillating between wanting to die from mortification and transcending into another plane at the beauty of the noise.
“I look like shit, don’t I?” Till says, running one hand through his hair and all Ivan can think is no, no, no, you look like the most beautiful person alive because it’s true, even with the sweatshirt tied loose around his waist and the two hours of sleep written on his skin.
