Summary
August 17, 1994
On July 26, 28-year-old local punk musician Frank Iero was mysteriously murdered in his home, with no trace of his murderer. Local officials suspected drug deals gone wrong, though there is little evidence of this so far. His case is still unsolved, the search eventually given up on August 14.Twelve years later, Gerard Way moves into his old home, falling in love with the supernatural.

Summary

“Frankie-”
Frank shakes his head frantically, “I’m not crazy, don’t look at me like that!” And even if he was, he feels pretty fucking strongly that he is allowed to rave like a mad man after that. “I’m not fucking crazy, you saw it!”
Gerard sighs quietly, reaching out to touch Frank's cheek. “I know you’re scared-” he sounds so reasonable that it makes rage seer through the smaller man’s veins.
On most occasions, Frank loves hearing those gentle tones from Gerard’s mouth. This is not one of those moments. Gerard is trying to calm Frank down, and Frank will not be fucking calmed down.

“You were among the stellar grades group, awarded with a gold colored medal draped over your neck by the principal. Of course you were. He expected no less from you, in the same way you probably thought he was some lazy, unmotivated loser. If you thought anything of him at all.”
Turns out you and Frank weren’t so different; an outcast is an outcast no matter the shape.
Even with that in mind, you were too much of somebody to him that he couldn’t just worm his way in the way he wanted to.
(Alternatively; Frank Iero is a yearning loser, and your mutual problem with fundamentally misunderstanding each other hinders his ability to remedy that.)
