Summary
“Roach” Soap held out a spoonful of a blue, unidentifiable liquid on a plastic spoon out at eye level to him where he was sat on the couch in the rec room.
Ghost then entered the room, glanced between the two of them and Soap handed him a tiny packet of something, probably of whatever was on the spoon, looking all too smug as he did.
Ghost took it, read the label then calmly announced, “He’s allergic to this”

Summary
Christmas was soon and a tradition the task force had started three years ago was decorating their Christmas tree with the worst pictures they could find of whoever’s name they pulled from a hat - It was funny enough even Ghost participated.
It was like a Secret Santa, sort of.
Roach had come prepared and had made sure the entire year no one would catch a bad photo of him.
And it had worked perfectly to his knowledge, up until it was Christmas Eve and he saw the photo hung of him.

Gary had left in the night and had no interest in seeing him again and had been planning his leave for who knew how long, maybe the second he saw Ghost he wanted out, then decided to stay so he could leave.
Although that was a selfish thought he knew wasn’t true, but he needed a reason - any at all to hate him, but he just didn’t have it in him when Gary had been nothing but understanding and assured him every time he felt guilty for what they were doing.
Gary betrayed him, but he knew he was at fault for it, he pushed him out and so did everyone else.

“.. what?” Roach asked, hand shooting up to feel along his collar to check it sat properly, smoothing it out just in case.
“You damaged government property” Soap stated and Roach stared back, before furrowing his brow.“What?” He asked once again, trying to rack his brain for what he could have possibly done.
