Midoriya Izuku had always been a quick thinker, it was one of the only qualities he had that got him anywhere in life. It helped him avoid conflict, kept him on his toes and sealed his mouth whenever unwanted opinions tried to escape.
But upon realising his dreams were nothing more than the definition of the word, that the world would forever be unforgiving and that not even his lifelong idol would spare him a single word of comfort, his already fractured life began to shatter.
And so, his thoughts changed strategy. And amongst the deteriorating wreckage of grizzled hopes and broken promises, something rises.
And that thing was once known as Midoriya Izuku.

Summary
Lance Mcclain, an up-and-coming tattoo artist working in an equally up-and-coming tattoo shop, is quite desperate to move up in the world. Constantly building up his portfolio, desperate for his own small lick of fame in the world of tattoos.
So when a quick tempered and rather confusing man named Keith Kogane quite literally comes tumbling into his life, eventually offering the final piece he needs to complete his portfolio, he's rather ecstatic, finally believing he can rise up in the world.
But when the opportunity finally comes, and he's only an arm's reach away from his dreams, can he really leave behind the path that he's made?
