Agent 4 had always felt inferior to the other Agents. They both seemed to be more skilled than her, stronger than her, they’d been through worse than her and were cooler than her. Knowing she would always be the worst of them was bad enough, but then she found herself with…. Feelings for 8 but why would 8 love someone like her? 4 had spent days in misery trying to figure out how she could earn 8’s affection and prove she’s a capable agent and….worth keeping around. Then it came to her, the Deep-Sea Metro, if going through that had been as hellish and difficult as 3 and 8 told her….. Maybe it would be her only chance to prove her worth. As Eight asked her to come to a party Three had planned with a friend of them, Four was...excited for it.
Or that was what she thought as her ignored feelings emerge even more once at the party, she then realizes she wasn't that much excited but maybe...rather anxious?
But- that was silly! The formal, serious, smart and brave Four being anxious over a party after everything else she'd gone through?! What a silly joke! Right?!
