Hal and Barry were two different ends of a spectrum. Barry let himself be vulnerable. He let himself express his sadness. He cried when things got to him. He wasn’t afraid to be emotional. Hal on the other hand kept vulnerability locked up tight in his chest. He didn’t express his pain openly. He didn’t cry. He was afraid to be emotional.
