Summary
An ongoing series, The Will of the Force examines the fate of Thrawn and the 7th fleet after the Liberation of Lothal in Star Wars: Rebels.
In 15 ABY, Eli Vanto finally reunites with his Grand Admiral and meets Ezra Bridger, but things have changed in the Unknown Regions. The Chiss Ascendancy is struggling and the First Order is on the rise. For all of Thrawn’s intellect and planning, he could not see the far reaching consequences of his absence. Thrawn must come to grips that his attempt to ensure the safety of his people may have been the very catalyst that doomed the galaxy.
The second part of the series focuses on Supreme Leader Ren and Armitage Hux, as they attempt to unravel the many mysteries Snoke left behind, and forge a new bond in the process. The Knights of Ren return to their master. Hux, it turns out, might be a bit more than a rabid cur.

Hux watched in silence as the light swept over his body. The power stunned him, as did the bright jet of flame as it licked its color into his eyes. This was not the calm brightness of last night in the presence of Kylo Ren. This was a different sort of light altogether, massive and deadly. It overwhelmed him. For a moment Hux felt an aching regret deep within himself, the sob of someone he used to be, bubbling up from the cold.
