Notes:Hello! 👋🏻 It's been a while, but to know me is to know that I love a Christmas fic and this idea has been floating around since last year. This story is set during early season 2 and is canon compliant up to episode 1x10, before we go a little off-canon. It's been a lot of fun to write Marina again and I hope you enjoy the story. 😊

Notes:Hello there, people :)
So, this story all started from a tweet from @/andysavre on Twitter that I was lucky to come across😊In @/andysavre 's words and simple terms without spoiling the story, the prompt touched on:
-Maya owns a farm and is "also yeehaw!" and Carina isn't the biggest fan of it.
-Carina is this "rich mf" and she is "all about beach vacations and shopping"
-"there needs to have some drama, campings w s’mores and Carina dragging Maya on a beach or a city vacation!!! AND SHOPPING"
-Slow-ish burn
-And "smut duuh"-—-
Now, I have made some tweaks to this, but I do believe I kept it on the same lines of the whole opposites attract trope. Starting with the slow-ish burn...yeah, I scraped that, it's just going to be a full on slow burn. Apologies in advance😂...Another thing is, Maya in this story is not a firefighter. I know that may be a major change from the prompt, but while I was writing up the plan for this, I just couldn't seem to work it in with the story line I have. So, apologies again😅But other then that, everything has stayed relatively the same😌🤌
So yeah, that's pretty much all the information you're going to need for this story. Everything else will obviously be adapted and explained into the chapters as they go on.

Notes:i love remaking hetero movies with my ships...can you tell? it's very very loosely based on the movie "The Proposal" though. it'll probably be longer + have much more cliches tbh. i have too many works in progress hahaha kill me
