Summary
The gate is small, innocuous where it sits nestled in the corner of the abandoned warehouse. The light of the swirling vortex a faint blue of cloudless skies, making streams of water that spill through the cracks in the roof glitter in the dark. The edges warp and flicker with streaks of red as dark, bloody arcs of lightning lash out, leaving behind craters in wood and stone wreathed in ethereal fire.
Time seems to freeze, the world holding its breath in mounting horror. With a groan of a thousand dying souls, blue becomes red as it explodes outward, consuming everything it touches.
The Earth shakes as the first steps through the gate with a tortured shriek of tearing metal.
The end begins with a thundering roar.

Then Ichigo offers the same hand to Xanxus, who automatically does the same, only to feel the earth fall off his feet and their flames touch.
His inner flame, almost always equal amount of Storm as he is SKy, unbalances until Xanxus' arm is bright orange, all Sky and no Storm. Ichigo, whose flame until now was pure orange sunset dips down to dusk, the Cloud-indigo taking over and spreading over his arm.
It's like getting a piece of himself he didn't know was missing, like finally knowing someone always has his six from the distance; it's like a warmth setting over his bones after walking on the snow for too long, like finding a favorite piece of clothing he thought was lost.
They Harmonize.
Xanxus finally has a Cloud guardian.

When Tony considers laying down the charm on Bucky Barnes around Steve, it's not with some grand plan in mind to actually be nicer. If anything, it serves the sole purpose of pissing Steve off.
The problem is, when Tony makes this decision—this half-cocked, spur-of-the-moment resolution to dial up the harmless flirt offensive—he doesn't pause to consider the potential fallout. Honestly, not for a second does he entertain the thought that this could backfire so spectacularly, not just with Bucky, but with Winter too.
Tony has no clue how he lets it get this far, but it’s not just his own fault. Not. Alright?
