He had done it, he had saved the Queen. The doctors rushed off to the operating room the moment he had handed over the heart, the gratitude being unspoken but obvious. Wally was swaying on his feet, his vision becoming blurry for a moment. He held himself up by leaning on a chair, trying to calm himself down.
Breathe, you did it. It’s over.
He was about to pass out or at least sit down, when the elevator opened with a ding, followed by the angry voice of a soon-to-be-not-Count.
“You stupid brat, do you have any idea what you just did”, Vertigo cursed and strode over to him.
The exhausted hero let out a sigh, could he just not leave him the fuck alone. He was hungry and tired and really didn’t wanna deal with him right now.
Little did he know that Count Vertigo had one more trick up his sleeve, that would turn Wally's day from bad to worse, a lot worse.

Duke was panicking.
Not because of any imminent threat or anything, but because he knew that he had to introduce his boyfriend to his family. Sooner rather than later, as you can’t really keep secrets in this family. Truly, it is a miracle that he has kept his relationship a secret for 9 months now. And while he knew none of his family were homophobic, he feared that they would disapprove of Al or that Al would leave him if he found out that Duke was a Bat like the rest of his family. Thinking about it, did he really have to tell them? Seeing as everything was alright right now, why would he do something that could possibly destroy the peace? Maybe he could continue to hide his relationship from his family.

Yeah, nope, they would find out. He had to find a way to tell them

Summary
Duke loved Alfred’s meals, he really did, however there is a part in him that missed the food his mother used to make. The spicy fried chicken with mashed potatoes on the side, Shrimps and grits, green beans with potatoes and bacon, peach cobbler or his family's secret recipe for the best homemade sweet potato pie. He was never shown the recipe but he could remember preparing the pie with his mother, laughing and making a mess of the kitchen. At the thought Duke could smell the sweet aroma filling the air in the kitchen as the pie was baking in the oven. God, how he missed that pie.
An idea came to his head. Alfred was going to be gone for a day next week, maybe he could sneak into the kitchen then and prepare a simple meal his mother used to make. Alfred wouldn’t mind right?-----------------------------
Or, Duke is the only one (except for Jason) with no kitchen ban yet and makes use of that privilege

The Joker is dead, has been for a couple of months, but during a patrol Duke spotted something he could have sworn looked like him. None of the others seem to believe him even after he found something suspicious on a security camera, so Duke decides to scour Gotham for any signs of the clown on his next patrol. Upon entering crime alley he spots a truck driven by some of jokers' goons entering a warehouse. Nothing bad could happen if he went to check out what they're up to, right? Right?

“Morales”, the man said in his usual monotone voice. He looked annoyed, like always Miles thought.
“Hey Miguel, Que pasa”, he asked.
“We have received high activity of an unauthorized multiverse jump from your earth. It seems like an anomaly has found its way into your universe.”
Miles was a bit surprised, never before had an anomaly landed at his earth though it should not surprise him. The chances weren’t too low that this would happen one day.
“I will deal with it, no problem”, the teen answered in his usual lighthearted voice.
(He would soon realize just how wrong he could be...)

Barely even 3 month it took for him to be replaced by his team. It’s not like they intentionally do it, it’s just that the return of a supposedly MIA member sucked all the attention to said man. They would never actually replace him. At least that is what Soap suspects. It’s what Soap hopes...
