In spite of his best efforts to focus his energy during his summer in Gravity Falls on finding the author of the mysterious, constellation-decorated journal, Stanford Pines finds (to his slight horror) that he has a crush.
Ignoring it hasn't worked, so there's only one way to win the heart of the object of his affection: break into the house of a rumored witch and steal her spell book.
Logical, it's all very logical.
