Después de lo ocurrido en Chicago el gobierno de los estados unidos le ha dado la espalda a los autobots culpandolos de todo lo ocurrido incluyendo a Sam Witwicky. Después de que les tendieran una emboscada los autobots se separaron, se suponía que Sam se iria con Optimus pero la situación provocó que se fuera con Ratchet, quien se sacrificaría para salvarlo. Ahora Sam herido termina llegando a otro universo con la ayuda de un fragmento de la Allspark ¿Podrá Sam regresar a su dimensión? O ¿Se quedará para empezar una nueva vida?
