Summary
While helping out a group of terraformers, Dean ends up with a mysterious Mark on his arm that gives him the urge to kill. After giving up on the idea of a cure, Dean comes up with the only solution he can think of: he takes his ship, picks a direction, and flies until he’s so lost no one will ever find him.
And for a few years, it works. Dean has a planet full of monsters all to himself, monsters he can kill and maim and satisfy his dark impulses. At least until a stranger crash lands on his planet. Will Dean be able to resist long enough to help this man leave? And what if he doesn't want him to leave?

Summary
Castiel Novak receives a rather alarming text message from an unknown number, and what started as a simple misdial quickly turns into the greatest friendship Castiel has ever known. But Dean has many secrets, dangerous truths about the life he lives, and would like to tell Castiel exactly none of them.
A (slightly) AU, (mostly) text fic, S3 fix-it romance (of sorts).

Very sweet fanfic with a surprising turn of event, I really like how most the relationship develops from a distance and with a simple correspondance.

Summary
Dean Winchester was twenty-six years old when a car accident killed his father and left him paralysed from the waist down. A year and a half later, Dean is in a wheelchair and lives in a care home in Kansas, where he spends his days waiting to die. It's only when Castiel Novak starts volunteering at the care home that Dean starts to wonder if a changed life always equals a ruined one.

Bookmarker's Notes
This is a very touching story and I read it almost in one go (would have if 'work' was really optional) and I was happy that this had no miracle ending whatsoever, but a happy ending anyway.
The approach on Dean's disability is interesting and the way he acts on it too, it's never over or under played or brushed aside when it's convenient, it's always there and considered, and I love how Castiel isn't a the savior in shiny armor here, he's just Cas. -

Summary
But that’s the whole reason he’s here, isn’t it? He’s not out here hunting Humans. He’s not even hunting deer, or bears, or anything else that featured in Bambi. He’s out here, freezing his nuts off every night, because he’s hunting Angels.
Sometimes Dean wishes that Angels were like how they’re described in the Bible. How people from time too old for him to care much about thought Angels were messengers and warriors of God, protectors of Humans. He knows that how they’re really described in the Bible is actually pretty terrifying, but at least they were told by God that they’re supposed to love Humans, right?
That’s a thousand times better than what Angels really turned out to be.

Bookmarker's Notes
I believe this one just joined the pantheon of my favourite Destiel fanfic. I'm usually not into super long stories, but I think I've read every word in this one and I was eager to pick up where I left off every time I had to tear myself away from my ereader.
