The void... The void hurts.
It's a feeling that Grian knows all too well. Silly, stupid mistakes are, well, stupid. Even if it means saving Scar, well... Gratitude won't stop pain.
Mumbo's grown accustomed to it, too. A mild pain, itching, maybe. Losing his stuff is the worst of it. Expected consequences can be harsh, but the unexpected can be worse.

His phone announced it was Dana—and it was 0721—which shot a little thrum of worry through him as he answered. "What happened?" he asked, no preamble. She wouldn't wake him if shit hadn't gone sideways.
"Robby hasn't come in yet and he's not answering his phone," she said, voice grim. "He's never missed a shift without calling." She spoke quietly, probably standing in the middle of the ED, trying to keep up a brave face for everyone else. As much as she could, anyway. People tended to notice when the fucking chief attending didn't show up to work.

They, along with numerous other colleges, attend a 'collegiate institute of higher learning' to learn, conduct research, make new discoveries and everything in between.
Started off as a joke but I have taken it seriously. VERY seriously. I deep things sometimes.
Many side character interactions for plot and worldbuilding. Not just romance but lots of friendships too.(On hiatus for a good time longer. I promise ill be back.)

OR: After the events of Batman v1 #408, Dick loses the use of his arm, and Robin, in one fell swoop. Meanwhile, Ollie’s left for good, and Roy’s in a downward spiral of his own.
In other words, Dick heads to Atlantic City, ‘’with Bruce’s credit card in one pocket, and Roy in the other.’’
