Leaves crunch under the weight of his boots as he stumbles through the wilderness. An axe in his hand and a pack on his back. He's gone too deep North into the Forest of Esther to turn back now.
Exhaustion has slowed him down since his race to get away. From the monsters that crawled up from the ground below and now roam the land. The end is upon them all, now. The chaos that unleashed showed the betrayers from where they stood.
Monsters grew in their places.

Summary
By the time the first unwelcome, obnoxiously polished boot hit the main street, Dream was still perched on the rooftop, chin propped up in one hand, wings folded, with one leg dangling over the edge. He didn’t bother standing.
“Heroes!” Dream called down with fake warmth as he peered at the newcomers with sharp eyes. “Captain, Architect, King."
“You’re about… three blocks into my district.” Dream continued, holding up three fingers as if he was explaining counting to a baby. “Which means you’re either incredibly, unbelievably lost, or you’re here to ruin my morning.” He flashed a toothed grin.
“So before we waste everyone’s time, you can all turn around,” His hand morphed into a single fingered twirl, “and walk right back out.”

“I’m… not Hylian anymore,” Time admits softly, “in pretty much anything but superficial appearance. I don’t have veins and arteries, I have roots and vines, with a mix of blood and sap running through them. My skin is scales and chromatophores, I have gills and a third eyelid, my teeth and bones are stone, and I have four extra people, one of them a god, hanging out in the back of my head.”
The mask spirits had more of an effect on Time than anyone anticipated.

Summary
Pulling out the length of rope he carried with him while hunting, Eden approached them. He watched their eyes widen in understanding, their fight or flight instinct kicking in again but this time apparently settling on flight. They turned, fingers clawing into the dirt as they struggled to get their legs beneath them. It was a pathetic attempt, barely making it away from the base of the tree before he stomped his boot on the center of their spine and forced them back down to the ground.
Eden sneered as he leaned more of his body weight onto them, "There're far more dangerous creatures than me in these woods. You should be grateful I'm the one who found you."
