"If I leave now, I'll never see you again," Adora states slowly as the truth sinks in. She glances at the raft on the water, then back to Catra, who's holding her arms close to her chest. Light Hope had told her there would be consequences, Adora never considered that meeting Catra would be one of them.
"You are a hero, Adora," Catra reminds her. She says hero as if it's a tainted word, an insult, a disgrace. "Heroes don't stay."
"I'll come back," Adora says. "I won't just leave you here.”
Something flickers in Catra's eyes. "No one ever finds Ogygia twice," she says.

Summary
They stay that way for a long time, Catra’s face tucked into Adora’s shoulder, Adora gently cradling Catra’s head. Adora is careful not to hug Catra too hard or make her feel restrained, anticipating the moment that Catra will start to pull away — but Catra doesn’t. She hangs on so tightly it hurts, her claws digging through Adora’s jacket and into her back, latching into her like she did when she was a kitten and didn’t know how much her claws could hurt. Adora tries not to wince, tries not to move a single muscle, worried that if she does the spell will break and Catra will struggle away, appalled at having shown weakness.
But Catra doesn’t let go. And so neither does Adora.

“What’s wrong?” Catra purrs, and Adora is all too aware that she has her right where she wants her. She moves in closer, pressing Adora back-first against the jagged wall, and Adora finally exhales shakily. “Cat… got your tongue?” She teases, reaching up to trace her jawline lightly with one claw, painfully slow, and something close to lust shines in her eyes as she follows the trail of Adora’s neck down to her collarbones.
“Why don’t you go bother someone else?” Adora hardly manages, stiffening. “Since you clearly have such a busy schedule now, captain.”
Catra snorts and her brows climb to her hairline in almost convincingly feigned surprise. Her laugh is dry.
“My, my, it looks like the princess has learned how to bite. You know, I’m impressed. For a second I thought you really meant that.”
