"You're wrong," she said. "I never told you he would succeed. I said that there was an 94.3732497% chance he would succeed."
Silence.
"Which means there was a 5.6267503% chance he would fail. Which he did."
Coil paused, momentarily thrown off by this response. He considered it for a moment.
"5% is not very high," he said.
"It's not that low either," Dinah countered. "It's the same odds as correctly calling a roll on a 20-sided dice. More unlikely than not, sure, but it's still doable."

It just is, the same way taxes are due and commercials always take too long and the drivers outside your window have road rage. It’ll happen whether you want it to or not. Don’t lean into it.”
