Summary
In moments where Ying and Merry dance under the spotlight, were when Merry was the most conscious he could be. As zombies, it was hard to remember anything outside of present moments. Merry could barely remember why he was even performing right now. Why was he performing for this audience?
He didn’t even like performing, even though he was most conscious while dancing and singing with his friend. As far as Merry was concerned, the audience ignored him the same way they ignored Ying.
