Regardless, it really just came down to the fact that Stan didn't know if Ford was alive or dead and God damn it, did he need to blow off some steam. Janai had rarely ever seen Amaya without her armor on. Even on family gatherings and dates, when such attire isn't necessary, she still wears some sort of metal plating. It was only during private moments behind closed doors that Janai got to see hear peel back her layers, and this was one of those moments.
