Summary
Mitchell lands himself a job with JC Jenson, which in today's abysmal job market is like having a goose lay a golden egg right on his lap. The only caveat is that the job listing lied about the lab he's working in. When confronted by the nature of Cabin Fever Labs' research, he realizes that he has stumbled into something much bigger than himself. It's all he can do to keep himself afloat.
Yeva is barely keeping her composure between endless experiments. The only humans she knows are faceless giants who see her as something to be used and studied, and she doesn't trust any of them. Not even the new custodian, who seems to have missed the memo that she's just a machine.

Summary
In another world, a technician and a test subject were the protagonists. Two unlikely allies in a barely understandable situation, but understanding of eachother. Here, we'll follow Mitchell, a robotics technician who simply wanted a hobby he could enjoy, only to find himself at the center of a conspiracy, and a disaster. And along the way, we meet Yeva, a subject for an experiment (more of a gamble) as a last ditch effort for humanity and it's future, at the cost of hers.
