What if Ruby and the gang didn't find Oscar waiting at the house in Argus?
Upon arriving at the city of Argus, tension is high when Team RWBY and co reunite. Secrets are revealed to JNR, Jaune not taking it well lashes out at Oscar. Oscar now scared and upset decides to head into town to clear his head... but things don't go as expected. A few old faces appear, but not who Oscar expects. This is the story of what happened if Oscar didn't make it back to the house and who he met while alone and unable to call for help...where will this all lead?

Summary
Oscar Pine never runs into Team RWBY at least not at first. While he and Ozpin are on their way to Haven, they run into Hazel Rainart. The ensuing battle leads to a train crash. Leaving Oscar in a predicament. The last thing Oscar hears is a woman he's never met saying she will get him somewhere safe. There he is forced to join Atlas Academy and stay under the thumb of one James Ironwood who is determined to keep Oscar and Ozpin a secret. Ironwood claims Oscar as his son and enrolls him in the academy. Oscar meets a young Atlas heir to the Schnee Dust Company at the Academy. A lonely snooty boy who seems to be the sort of person Oscar wouldn't spend a day with. But now has to live every day with. Since they are rooming together with a few other students. What else could go wrong for Oscar... or could something amazing be in store?
