“I just, I thought maybe we could go back to how it used to be for once.” Will bites his cheek, knowing as soon as the words leave his mouth what reaction Mike is going to have.
Mike stands up, walking towards where Will is dutifully placing back colored pencils at the corner shelf and pointedly ignoring Mike. “It’s been years. We’re not the same people who did all of those things. After the things we’ve seen, the things we’ve done? I- ugh.” Mike stops, turns around, and starts pacing back and forth. “We’re not kids anymore, Will. It’s just not going to be the same as it was when we could all gather around and play games.”
---------------------------------------------------------Will is back in Hawkins after a year away, and a lot has changed. At the same time, everything is suffocatingly the same, especially a certain best friend that can't seem to stand being in the same room as him. As Will battles Vecna and tries to keep the party intact, it will push him to the bounds of what he thinks is home, and what he thinks he knows.

Summary
It's really great that Roy and Trent cleaned up whatever bad blood was between them, because Ted is thrilled to have Trent around the Dogtrack. He's so happy to see how well Trent is getting along with Keeley and Rebecca. And the whole team. And even Roy. And Beard, of course. It's great. There ain't a single reason for Ted to not be over the moon about how well everyone's getting along with Trent.
Because it'd be real odd if Ted wasn't over the goddamn moon about it, right?
