“Great job on your assignment today!! I knew you could do it :)”
Your shaky hands hold the phone as you cry more at his praise. Your tears cover the screen but you still manage to type anyways.
“Thanks, I’m really struggling right now and needed to hear that”
You can almost hear his concerned voice in the next text he sends. It almost makes you feel bad.
“Are you okay? Do I need to come over?”
“Please”
