Helen had been stuck in a mental institution for years, her mind in an endless spiral that had begun its descent the day Madeline Ashton had seduced Ernest - that useless excuse for a man - and left her to fend for herself, friendless and despising the people she’d once thought she loved. Helen Sharp had gone from a fiancée and a hard-working - albeit not too successful - author to a psych ward patient with no one to turn to.
But, today, that would change.
Or: the day Helen escaped the mental insti-spa.
