Summary
The fall of the Witness was described as the end of a saga. And, the dawn of a new age. However, the Guardian had hoped she would have time to rest after years of being at war, though she knows it was impossible, given that the paracausal artefacts had been created in its aftermath. She was no prophet, but as she stared at the green tear in the sky of an unknown planet, emitting unfamiliar paracausal energy, she can tell that it was a sign that her vacation was over.

Summary
The plan to sabotage comms and equipment had worked. With his reappearance and orders, half of his Shadows had retreated into the proverbial shadows while the rest remained loyal to 2-1. Half of the base was destroyed by the bombardment of missiles and most of his Shadows, both loyal and disloyal, were injured or dying. Phillip had managed to meet up with Team-2 at the doors of the HQ building, exchanging fist bumps before they breached in. It was bloody and he had been the one to stumble on the cowardly commander, jumping at him and they started exchanging blows until 2-1 managed to stab him at his unprotected arm. Phillip hissed, grasping at the hilt of the knife before pulling it out from his arm with a grunt.

Summary
Phillip leans against the wall, his eyes steadily gazing at his allies - men he would call friends if they still trusted him. The kids were wary of the adults with Diana, the child of Apollo, prowling around the other two kids protectively. He understands her reaction in a way, but it would be worse for the Greek kids. They didn’t have an adult figure in their lives who understood the tragedies of their world. He was one of the few adult Greek demigods left in the world that was thriving, even with the monsters that still hunted him. Diana was a Roman demigod and Phillip knows that the Romans have a city protected by the gods, where demigods could live and have legacies.

Summary
The rough waters made Phillip wary as their teams approached the abandoned oil rig located in the Gulf of Mexico. He had already made offerings to Percy’s father, Poseidon, and to Chalchiuitlicue, the Aztec goddess of the seas. He paid careful attention to Poseidon, understanding his hatred towards Athena, even if the god was accepting towards Annabeth.

Summary
Phillip wakes up in his assigned cot, an uneasy feeling rising in his chest. He peers into the darkness of his room, spying that the lights on his work desk were turned off. He was still dressed in his combat vest with paperwork haphazardly strewn across the floors and his cot. He sighed in exhaustion as he bent down, pausing as he realised that someone was sitting on the office chair. It takes him only a few seconds to recognize the figure with her godly aura.
“Ma,” Phillip rasped, his Southern accent prominent in the early hours of the morning.

Summary
On certain days, Phillip keenly remembers his father. Soft blue eyes and the familiar crooked smile that would usually grace his lips. The way his father’s eyes turn sad whenever little Phillip would ask about his non-existent mother who had abandoned him on the doorstep of his father’s one-bedroom apartment. His existence changed the trajectory of his father’s ambitious career, turning him into a single father who needed to juggle his career path as a military consultant and being a parent to a baby boy. He still remembers the days when he followed his father into the occupied military bases as he could not find any babysitters to take care of him at the last minute. He always toddled behind his father, pointing in awe at the large planes or staring widely at the roaming soldiers who were either in gear or resting. He had been just a child but his mind was too quick, just like his father, never knowing that it was a gift from his mother until he had turned ten. Now, he was older, broken to know the truth of his existence and the numerous games the gods can play on mortal lives, especially as he holds the title of Athena's Shadow.
