Each chapter will be missing scenes from the show. I am a huge stancy fan so they will all have something to do with Steve and Nancy’s relationship but I also want to stick to canon as much as possible so they will not be a couple for most of the chapters. The other characters are mostly just background characters.

“Steve,” Nancy admonishes primly, the corners of her mouth pulling up into a small smile despite herself, “my father is dying. Of course not.”
“I don’t,” Steve answers anyway, and she can see his shit-eating grin in her mind.
OR; ten years later, Ted is back in the hospital, and Nancy is headed back to Hawkins.

Summary
As Nancy stands on the front porch of Jonathan’s house, breathing hard, she can actually hear the moment things return to normal. The sounds of the night return like a switch has been flicked, and she can’t believe she missed the sounds of the crickets. She starts to lower the gun, although her finger never leaves the trigger.
Somewhere to her right, Steve lets out a shaky breath.
“Uh, Jonathan? Is your mom dead?”
OR
Nancy, Jonathan, and Steve throughout the years- post end of the world. They're dealing just fine. Here's to one more!

Summary
In the aftermath of the fall of Hawkins Nancy Wheeler is stuck picking up the pieces of her life. With the world all but ending, there isn't time to focus upon the tragedy that is her own love life or the resurgence of feelings she suddenly has for one person she really, truly shouldn't. In the midst of said disasters, all she can do is roll with the punches and try survive.
Steve Harrington, well he is just a glutton for punishment and cannot seem to stay away despite every instinct telling him to go. His cards are on the table and all he can do now is wait for Nancy to play her hand.
