Summary
3 days irrevocably changed the trajectory of Regulus Black’s life. 3 separate days and 3 interconnected events invariably altered his destiny and his very character as a wizard. For in Regulus’s life, decisions of the utmost gravity and mere coincidences of chance alike intertwined to sew his fate.
The first was the day his brother left for Hogwarts, the day that daft hat decided Sirius Black would align himself with blood traitors and Gryffindors rather than his own family. The second was the day Sirius left their home, the day he abandoned his blood and his name for the illusion of safety with the Potters. The day, for all intents and purposes, he was meant to abandon Regulus as well. The third day, well the third day had yet to pass, but Regulus had an inkling that troublesome Potter would be a hand weaving those particular stars of prophecy.
