Summary

Momo's wishes were simple - to have fun with her friends, to find a boyfriend similar to her favorite actor. No people making fun of her grandma, probably. Even if that meant rejecting some part of her existence.
A chance meeting, however, set something bigger in motion, to the point that neither of them could deny or reject anymore.

His head tilted, frost-white hair curling around his ears. A far off part of her wondered what it would feel like to comb her hands through it. The red of Okarun’s eyes burned hot as they traced her face, canines slipping out from behind his lips. He hummed in response, eyes flickering to the side. And oh.
It was easy to forget, looking at him like this, but this Okarun was still her Okarun. With his big round glasses that blew up his eyes like a bug, and his curly hair that was getting longer by the day. His nervous fingers tapping lightly on her side, corners of his lips curving up in sheepishness.

Ken is a monster… but he's Momo's monster. A twisted mix of something vampire and yokai. And his curse? It'll take every single piece of his vowed phrase both literally and figuratively. His body and aura are unstable, and only she can hold him together. He falls hard, his love for her fueling his chaotic instincts, but he'll be damned if he ever hurts her. He'd do anything for her.
Momo doesn't want Okarun to give up. She can see it, he's still more human than other people in the world. She… she appreciates that about him, so deeply… she wants him to realize that for himself, but she knows she can't ignore the fact that he's forced into this role, his being a yokai vampire, forced to feed off of her, forced to feel things about her… she wants nothing more than to help him, to free him. To… to be his friend. She'd do anything for him.
They're soulmates, after all.

Five years later, Atlas is a normal teenage boy, who just happens to work for a murderous secretive organization of shape-changing trolls. It's not so bad though. The healthcare is free at least.
Until he finds a magical amulet.
This must be some sort of mistake. Atlas can't be the Trollhunter. Merlin was insane. He worked for the Janus Order for Pale Lady's sake. What was that stupid wizard thinking?
Suffice to say, things get...interesting.

Summary
After using the time stone infused amulet, Jim finds himself back to the day it all started, only this time Toby is the trollhunter. Completely prepared to be the moral support this time around, but things never go the way you plan them, and take a strange turn. The new amulet returned to the past with him, but the physical metal and akiridion tech is nowhere to be found. Jim finds out that he is more connected to the amulet than ever, and the magic that turned him troll is slowly following him to the past.
