He falls to that first impulse. He scrunches it up. He throws it at the far wall, which isn’t all that far, as the room is arguably pretty tiny, and all that happened is that it bounces off and skitters back across the scratched boards to come to a stop against his right foot.

Summary
Steve Harrington’s life gets turned Upside Down (pun intended) when he becomes Sailor Neptune for the first time while fighting a demogorgon with Nancy and Jonathan. Memories from his past life lead him to a new best friend and a bunch of younger kids who are also Sailor Guardians, but at the cost of his old “normal” life.
Together, the Sailor Guardians are the only ones who can defeat the evil that’s been sealed away in an alternate dimension for centuries, and it’s definitely going to take all nine of them to do it. The problem is that Eddie Munson keeps holding the rest of them at arm’s-length, and he won’t tell them why. Steve is going to have to get through to him soon, because the Mind Flayer is determined to get into their world.Or: A Sailor Moon fusion for the Steddie Big Bang.

"Look," Steve exhales, running a hand through his uncharacteristically disheveled hair. "I just thought - we still don't know where your Uncle is, and you need somewhere to stay. And - well, it's just me in my house, and–"
"No," Eleven says to Steve, before turning to Eddie. "You will stay with us."
Her tone leaves no room for debate, and Eddie blinks back at her owlishly. He's so shocked he doesn't even register the noise Steve makes beside him, like he's been elbowed in the gut by some unseen force. Eleven’s nose doesn’t bleed, so he’s probably just being dramatic, anyway. "I will?" Eddie asks, and then, "Who's 'us'?"
Eddie needs somewhere to stay. Steve has a lot of feelings about it.

Summary
Hawks, HPSC-trained hero, No. 2 in the country, is sent to infiltrate the League of Villains. This does not lead to his immediate fiery demise as he expected, but it turns out that is just because the universe has a different demise in store for him.
Or: Hawks' instincts, which he is usually forced to beat back with a broom, decide notorious villain Dabi of the League of Villains is the perfect exception to their general bloodlust. Why? Hawks is just as clueless as you or I.
(Note: despite repeated mention of Hawks' demise, there are in fact no character deaths in this fic, major or minor!)
