“Buck?” He asks incredulously and his brain couldn’t connect the dots that the person he had been ogling over is his best friend. “Buck, what are you riding?”
“You like it?” Buck gives a beaming smile and his curls are tousled from being confined in the helmet. The curls are loose and soft and not for the first time Eddie wants to touch them. He shakes his head and tries to come back to why he is annoyed in the first place.
“It’s loud,” Eddie stutters out as his brain comes back online. Buck’s smile droops a little as he tilts his head curiously.
“That’s all? It’s loud?” Buck asks as he rests his helmet on his hip. “I can think of a million better adjectives for it.”
“You bought a death trap?” Eddie is fully back and his annoyance rises.
Or After the plane landing that Buck helped clear he gets a bike of his own and Eddie has mixed feelings.

Summary
When TK was 9 his father left. His mother became an alcoholic and drug addict and began to hate TK. Her new husband abused TK both physically and sexually. This all got worse after he came out as gay.
When TK is 21 he is sent to his father's station as a firefighter. He hides his sexuality out of fear. No one knows what hell he has been through, but little by little the team finds out. Summary
TK has had problems since the day the towers fell. He has never been a normal kid and now as an adult he wasn't a normal young man. “Well, it’s my job, isn’t it?” His voice was quiet, barely a whisper.
Buck could see Eddie's breath catch in his throat before he swallowed. “What’s your job?” Eddie asked, though Buck could tell Eddie already knew what he would say next.
Buck took a deep breath before answering, “To have sex with you.” He finally said, “It’s my job as your boyfriend to have sex with you.”

„Buck are you okay?“
The questioned startled Buck and he looked at Eddie. His brown eyes were soft and maybe even worried. Was it worry?
Buck focused on Chris who was still in Eddie’s arm and smiled softly at him.
„I’m so sorry buddy,“ Buck choked out. „Take good care of your dad for me, will you?“
„Buck come one what are you talking about?“ Eddie pressed further.
„I‘ll get out of your hair. Sorry for causing a scene,“ Buck explained softly and placed a soft kiss to Chris‘ forehead.
OR
Eddie doesn't let Buck see Chris after the lawsuit. Buck is desperate. Not everyone approves of a man watching children play through fences or at the park.

From there, it was unstoppable. It started as an itch. The feeling and need unrecognizable… until it wasn’t. Until he ended up back on the bathroom tile with a sliver of metal in his hand.
