Summary
Daniel has been abandoned by his Maker, but he's doing fine, really. He's immortal, his book is published, and now he's interviewing The Vampire Lestat. As is his nature, however, Lestat has to go and throw a spanner in the works by questioning what Daniel believes to be true. Namely, how can Daniel say that Armand is the best he's ever had when he's also the only vampire he's ever had? Why, if only there was a simple way of resolving this...

Summary
The last thing Daniel remembered before the darkness closed around him was dropping his medication all over the bathroom. His hands, which were once as steady as a rock, shuddered violently as he tried to open the bottle. A shower of pharmaceuticals sprayed out around him in medicated rain, red and blue capsules bouncing off porcelain, a few precious pills sliding down the drain.
And then, it was as if someone had thrown a switch. He held on to a distant awareness - a halo of consciousness like the space between waking and sleep. Everything was black and still. He had a vague awareness of the shape of his body, but sending signals to limbs produced no results. His memory grew hazy and indistinct. Moments of past and present blended together, and some moments were subsumed entirely by fog.
“Why are you wasting this on him?”

Shortly after dropping his guise as Rashid, the Vampire Armand gives Daniel Molloy a gift - and it isn't the dark gift. He's a young man again, with all his memories intact. Well, except the ones that were gone before the transformation.Takes place shortly after the end of S1. This will follow the rating and tone of the show including Armand's manipulation.
