Ren and Makoto are destined for one another, it's difficult to deny. They fit almost too perfectly - the leader and the advisor, the delinquent and the honor student, the Phantom Thief and the sister of a prosecutor investigating those very same Phantom Thieves.
But this wasn't always so obvious. It wasn't simply handed to them; it was a buildup of all the little moments between the two, overflowing into what we know today.
