“Your thoughts are so loud,” Hajime mumbled beside him, his voice lazy with exhaustion that Oikawa couldn’t relate to.
“Sorry, must be the fact that I’m sleeping shirtless next to a stranger in a strange house in the middle of nowhere,” Oikawa bit back instinctually.
Hajime just snorted at him, as if he was making a joke. “‘S’not that bad. Who knows? Maybe a bit of the country life could do you some good.”
“Yeah? According to who?”
“Well you did run away from home,” Hajime pointed out, and, well, yeah, Oikawa couldn’t really argue with that point. “B’sides, doesn’t seem like life has treated you too kindly so far. Change of scenery might not be the worst thing in the world.”

Summary
Mu Qing is trying to be normal. Really. Feng Xin gave him permission to let the past go and he is trying, but Xie Lian and Hua Cheng's relationship still makes a decidedly not normal feeling settle into his bones, and the only thing that will fix it is feeling Feng Xin's hands on him in whatever way he can.
Feng Xin won't hit him back, and he's starting to feel undone, and maybe Feng Xin was right to call him jealous.

Summary
Clearly Iwaizumi had a checkered past. Kyoutani has never asked about it, nor has Iwaizumi ever brought it up. He knows it’s a sore spot for his mentor, just like the gorgeous Monte Carlo he keeps hidden away is, so he leaves it alone. Out on the streets, you learn a little something about when to turn a blind eye in order to survive; Kyoutani knows better than most to leave the past of men like Iwaizumi well alone.
It’s probably got something to do with the boy in the polaroids, though.

“What are you trying to say to me, Tooru?”
Oikawa sucks in a breath and continues staring at the water. He should have known that Iwaizumi wouldn’t let him back out – and that’s another reason why Oikawa loves him so; Iwaizumi forces Oikawa to show up, forces him to work through the things that make him uncomfortable, forces him to be the best version of himself.
After a moment, Oikawa responds. “I’m trying to say that I missed you.”
Iwaizumi pauses. “And I said that I know that.”
Oikawa sighs and presses the heels of his palms to his eyes in frustration. “No, I don’t think you do.” He murmurs. He drops his hands back to his lap and turns to Iwaizumi so that he is finally looking at him. “I’m saying that I missed you. Miss you. I want – “
There are fingers on his cheek, stealing the breath from Oikawa’s lungs. The pool lights reflect in Iwaizumi’s eyes like twinkling stars. He is beautiful, like an untamed garden or a wild, rushing waterfall. Oikawa’s heart feels so full of adoration that it hurts.

“Filthy.” Mu Qing murmured, dipping one of the towels in the bowl and swiping it over Feng Xin’s face gently, cleaning away the blood and grime. “Couldn’t find time to take a bath?”
“Forgive me for not prioritising looking presentable over killing the Wrath that had been terrorising a town in, mind you, our shared territory.” Feng Xin retorted, closing his eyes as the towel swiped over them, removing the congealed blood on his eyelashes and eyebrows. He opened them again and caught a fond look on Mu Qing’s face that disappeared as quick as it appeared.
