But now that he was standing here his heart was pounding in his chest. This was a bad idea. This wasn't the kind of thing Atsushi did. He was more level headed, he was the type to hold back to not cause conflict or inconvenience others. He wasn't someone who acted impulsively based on emotions. But somehow, that's what he'd ended up doing.
It wasn't too late to back out, though. He could turn around, get the next flight back to Japan, and pretend this never happened even if his friends teased and scolded him relentlessly for it. Who was he to impose on his childhood friend like this? Atsushi lowered his hand back to his side and took in a deep breath.
And then the door opened.
On impulse, Atsushi goes to visit Kinshiro during summer break.
