Summary
J'zargo and Marcurio do not like each other very much.
However, bound together by mutual affection for a starry-eyed Dragonborn-to-be, they find it within themselves to put this aside. The College of Winterhold is big enough for the two of them, after all. But of course, since every good story starts with something going terribly wrong, things fall apart when the Dragonborn disappears mysteriously into a snowstorm without so much as a word.
With nothing else better to do, these two sorry excuses for mages embark on an epic quest of terrible misfortune, dramatic irony, and a slow burn bromance that might just lose that B in another hundred thousand words. Who's to say! Whether predetermined by the hands of fate, or by the dice roll of some wine-drunk Daedra, the life of the Dragonborn hangs in the balance and now all that's left to save her are two idiots and their funny, inexplicable habit of always somehow making it just in time.

Summary
Teaching his brother to read would prove to be more work than he had initially anticipated, but it would be worth it eventually. It would take him decades, but in return for his hard work, the decades that followed would be filled with letters and postcards and messages he sent him, scrawled in huge loopy handwriting dotted with hearts over the “i”’s. One day, Gum Gum would write stories of his own, and Bart would be there to read every single one.

"This one's a favorite of mine, a legend we all know and love..."
The in-game journal of Elbryn. Failed mage, nobody, and somehow, the Dragonborn. Something closer to a Divine joke than a legend to be put to song, but who are we to question the gods?

Summary
The great doors of Dragons Reach swung open, pillars lining a massive mead hall with great arching ceilings and balconies above. Once upon a time, in Skyrim’s more peaceful days, it would be host to every Jarl in the province, great moots held to determine the fate of Skyrim’s people.
As it was, the hall was empty save a single older man sitting upon a carved wooden throne and the court wizard in sleep clothes who went to stand behind him. His eyes had drifted closed, his breathing gentle and soft as he leaned hard against his palm. Ireleth took the steps up the dais two at a time, coming over.
“So the dragon has been driven off?” he asked quietly as the guards pulled Xantos up the last flight of stairs. One pattered up further, moving behind the throne while holding Xantos’ sword.
“Killed, my jarl, and I have brought the ones responsible- you’re... you’re not going to like it, my jarl.” Irileth looked over her shoulder to where the collected misfits were standing. "One of the heroes is a companion, the other is a dunmer girl, and a small breton mage-”
“And the last one is Xantos Ashborne.” Balgruuf finished. “How in oblivion did he end up fighting the dragon?”
