THE BATTLE OF AYRAM ALUSÌNG, also known as THE BATTLE OF THE HALLELUJAH MOUNTAINS, was a pitched battle that occurred on PANDORA on August 23, 2154, and was the FINAL MAJOR CONFRONTATION in the escalating conflicts between the HUMAN MERCENARIES serving the RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION (RDA), and the ALLIED FORCES of the INDIGENOUS NA'VI CLANS . the conflict followed THE DESTRUCTION OF THE OMATIKAYA HOMETREE by the RDA for the purpose of evicting the native residents so that unobtanium mining can be expanded.

Summary
Jake lost a piece of himself when he was told he'd never be able to walk again, an unfortunate hazard of the job. But when he was laying there in the hospital, he would dream of the stories his brother told him about Pandora. He'd have these recurring dreams of flying, feeling free. He wanted to feel that freedom again, and the Avatar Program could provide that.
It's why when he arrived on the indigenous moon he wasn't looking to be some counterspy for Colonel Miles Quaritch, and he certainly wasn't looking for a permanent place among the Na'vi. Jake only wanted to be free. He just never expected his training with the Omaticaya hunter Tsu'tey to alter the course of what he desired.
