    she put her mouth to Will's ear and covered it with her hands,
    "you're Mike's favorite too!"
    she whispered. It wasn't really a whisper though.

    "Holly!"
    Mike snapped. He heard her too.
    Will tried to bite back a smile but it didn't quite work. His cheeks flushed.

    He stops in front of Will, leaning a bit forward so that they're face to face. Will's eyes are bright and wide, a mirror of Mike's own uncertainty. It lights a spark of bravery inside of him. He reaches out and takes Will's hand, softly, as if using any strength could break the moment and ruin everything.
    “You can ask for something else,” Mike says. Another wave of heat spreads over his face, but he can't bring himself to care, because Will looks just as flustered as he feels.
    “Anything?”
    A shiver down Mike's spine. “Whatever you want.”

    Or, Mike and Will watch The Princess Bride together, and Mike finally finds the courage to confess what he feels for his best friend.
