Summary
When Berk is attacked by dragons on an early morning, Hiccup attempts to shoot down what looks to be a Night Fury who was attacking alongside the raid, but while he did shoot it down and saw it go down to the forest, when he goes to find it, instead, he finds a Light Fury. And with his own decision, Hiccup let's the dragon go despite the chance he had after all the neglect he's felt his whole life. But when he finds her again near a grove, without a tailfin and in need of help, Hiccup decides to help it, and from there, they grow a bond unlike any other dragon and human has ever had before.

Summary
To Haruka, showing the world that he's okay is easy. No amount of struggle could ever nudge a person like him whose life has revolved around 'being free'.
He remains the same even when the world's fastest man casually ripped everything he had built on swimming for years.
Unyielding, free, and determined to the point of cold.
But really, if the world knew what goes on in his mind and body...
Because Haruka has been on the verge of breaking for a long time now.
