Summary
An unlikely romance explored through a selection of words from The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows (link below). In which Dan (an unhappy lawyer) is traveling through a journey of self-discovery and enlightenment, as he sets aside what he’d been told about the world, and finally ponders on what it means to be an individual.
OR
We tackle each turn of events with a word from The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows. I guess it's my way to discuss the philosophies behind these concepts in the form of story telling and romance ;) only read if you're into having an existential crisis and deep thoughts!
The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows is a made up dictionary, created not to be used in daily conversation, but to fill holes in our language by wrapping big concepts into bundles of letters. It's pretty cool:

Summary
When Dan moves into Lancashire, Phil finds himself strangely allured towards this new transfer student. The both discover things about each other that no one else would notice, and find potential they never thought they had within themselves. Two closet teenagers strive to have 'the romance of a lifetime' in a school ruled by the homophobic. Will they stand as the waves pass, or take matters into their own hands?

Summary
The spirits don't go after normal humans. They don't bless them, they don't appear to them, and they leave them to their own theories and science and whatnot. There are people who keep secrets, who use their blessing to help others and only a finely selected few bloodlines are made aware of what's really out there. But when one spirit decides to break the tradition and bless a lonely boy to save him, only time could tell whether they really saved him or just turned the world into chaos.

Summary
When Dan's thoughts take the best out of him, the only thing he can do is to follow through.
Deciding to play by his own rules, Dan embodies the dark part of his mind. Phil, noticing changes in his flatmate's behavior, worries for his mental state. Wanting the best for him, he tries to crawl inside his head to understand him... but Dan won't let him in so easily.
