“Coach Ilya, my skate is untied,” Scarlet says, pointing to her feet.
Ilya glides in front of Scarlet and fixes up her laces. He does a quick scan of the other skates, just to make sure no one else might trip on the way back to the bench. Once satisfied, he returns his attention to the group, kneeling to meet them at eye level.
“Who’s ready to play?” Ilya asks, and the girls shout back, their voices overlapping.

To New York, which is a dream come fucking true. He's playing with Scott fucking Hunter, even if he announced 27-28 would be his last season Aris still gets to play with him! So fuck you, Hollander-Rozanov and your handsome fucking face and your goddamned superhero rescuing tendencies. Aris Floros is going to win the Stanley cup first.
