Taki's attention drifted as the woman's bracelets clinked again. He thought about the unfinished potatoes in the trash. About his mom. How she fixed his shirt, held his hand, laughed at his stupid jokes. About how ridiculous it would be if—
"Takayama Riki!"
For a moment, the sound in the square seemed to disappear. The name echoed strangely in his ears, like it had been said underwater.
Taki blinked. He looked up at the stage. Then around him. Several people turned to stare. The crack in the dirt between his shoes suddenly looked very far away.
He let out a small breath.
"Ah," he said quietly. "That's inconvenient."

Summary
When Euijoo moved into a cheap apartment building in another city, he was hoping his life would fall into routine and comfort.
