Summary
Erwin’s heart caught in his throat as the thief bypassed him, barely sparing him a glance. It happened in slow motion, almost like fate planned this exact meeting. The way storm grey eyes glinted from beneath the hood, the manner in which dark hair the color of a raven’s wing brushed against the thief’s pale skin. Erwin had never felt such an intense amount of satisfaction and obsession overcome him at once. His eyes widened, blue orbs glinting with madness, and a crazed smile stretched his lips just as the thief passed him and disappeared into the dark hallway.
Erwin stood in the aftermath of the brief meeting, feeling a wild flare of excitement in his chest and the call of something distant and primal from his center.
“Your orders, commander?”
Heart racing, Erwin glared down that hall with an almost sinister intent, “Capture him.”
