Maybe this isn’t a second chance, but instead an elaborate scheme to make him feel annoyed and guilty.“If you’re going to be climbing up the ventilation system, you need some protection for that pretty face of yours,” Mel explains, tapping her chin. “Also, the proper reaction is, still, saying thank you.”
Viktor scowls at her.
“Relinquish the flesh!” She exclaims, ignoring his annoyance; a joyful smile on her face.
Maybe he should've just died when he had the chance to.
Or: Death is supposed to be final, or so Viktor thought; because if it is, then why had he woken up in his childhood bedroom?
Or; after the finale, rather than dying, Viktor is spat out back in the past. Ridden with guilt, he decides to change the outcome of his fate. He helps people along the way.
