Zanim Wooyoung zdążył coś odpowiedzieć drzwi ponownie się otworzyły i to z takim impetem, że aż uderzyły w ścianę. Do środka wszedł Hongjoong. W dalszym ciągu miał na sobie czarny płaszcz, który powiewał za nim, kiedy szedł w ich kierunku. Zdążył już jednak zdjąć maskę i kapelusz odsłaniając swoje czarno-białe włosy.
- Park Seonghwa, czy możesz mi łaskawie wyjaśnić, co ty tutaj do jasnej cholery robisz?! – Zatrzymał się przed Seonghwą prostując plecy i patrząc na niego z zimną furią.(Seonghwa i Hongjoong to partyzanci należący do tajemniczej organizacji - Halateez. Przez lata ich relacja układa się dobrze, aż do czasu, kiedy Hongjoong zaczyna się zmieniać. Czy ich przyjaźń da się jeszcze uratować? A może zamieni się ona w coś więcej?)

Summary
Pirates spend their lives hunting down treasure, but the most valuable treasure of all isn’t gold or jewels - it’s mermaid scales. After the majority of Captain Kim Hongjoong’s crew is decimated by disease, he has no choice but to turn to the hunting of mermaids to keep himself and his remaining men afloat. When a new pirate joins them, however, he struggles to maintain his control over his crew, his ship, and his emotions.
It’s only a matter of time until Hongjoong’s notorious reputation falls apart, but little does he know that darker plans are at play beneath the surface.
Mermaids can walk on land if they choose, but doing so is practically unheard of due to the risks. He poses as a pirate and steps ashore for the first time in his life, all with the intent to destroy a certain captain, his crew, and his ship from the inside.
It’s only a matter of time until Seonghwa’s true identity is revealed, but he plans to destroy them all before it comes to that.

Summary
The Sunshade Revolution has attained its victory from the self-serving nobles of Tian. Xue Xiao Chen, former First Army General, finds himself at the mercy of his once rival and ally, Zhang Zhe Sheng, former Second Army General, leader of the Revolution and now Emperor of Tian.
Xiao Chen greets the Emperor on his knees, prostrating himself till his nose touches the floor. The Emperor's feet grow closer, and then halts.
He hears Emperor Zhang scoff overhead. “Such theatrics.” When Xiao Chen remains still, he snaps, impatient. “Get up.”

Edwin existed, just as Charles had. Charles, who occupied a space in loving memory. A much-deserved space – Edwin would have wanted it no other way – but the core of him wanted to scream that he had been here, too. He never would be again, but he had lived, and he had breathed and laughed and moved with too much frippery and frill to continue on breathing, and he had been a whole person, once. And it had not mattered.
So looked at CHARLES ROWLAND through tears, allowed himself to. Even Charles's hammer on metal on stone was not enough to dull the pain, but it was enough to remind him that he was still here, even if he was no longer living. It was an awful sound, a jarring sound, and tears shone in Charles’s eyes as he focused intently on carving out the A in his surname, but it was something.
They were there, together, and they were feeling.
