But then there Kim Soleum was, thrown over a shoulder like a sack of shit, having the living daylights jostled out of him as Baek Saheon ran. He'd accidentally let out a hiss of pain when a particularly hard jolt hit his shoulder at just the wrong angle, and Baek Saheon had actually spared the breath to pant out a soft, "sorry". Kim Soleum had just stared at the floor in disbelief, watching the patterns on the floor wobble around, replaying the small sound again and again in his head until he finally registered what it had been.And at that moment, it seemed very much to him that he'd made the right choice.
