    The Master planned for every circumstance except this one. The Doctor was supposed to regenerate into him; they were not supposed to swap bodies. The TARDIS arrives before he has time to mourn his plan, but a new one forms the moment a bewildered Yaz rushes towards him with open arms.

    The Doctor was too weak to reciprocate the human's feelings. If he's going to ruin her reputation, he may as well break her hearts in the process.

Yaz is responsible for protecting both the human and the fob watch that holds her Doctor's soul, but the more Yaz learns about Doctor Jo Beaumont, the less she trusts her. The human harbors her own secrets, and the mission the Doctor prepped Yaz for? It's definitely not the mission Jo Beaumont is on.

    Includes obligatory pining, guilty lust, and gay confusion as you might expect.
