Summary

When tragedy at Canary Wharf strikes, they both make a choice: but is getting everything they want worth giving up everything they are? A Doomsday what-if with both Rose and the Doctor in Pete's World.
Originally posted in 2016, I felt that some changes needed to be made to the story. I had trouble writing it because the pacing wasn't good. Chapters 1 and 2 are the same as the original. Chapter 3 has some cuts and pastes from other chapters that fit better here. The end of chapter 4 is the first new material.

What follows, is, I hope, a much more satisfying end to Star Trek: Enterprise and what I'm calling "The Golden Age of Star Trek!" (Though, that bar was set so low...)
Some plot elements will stay the same, others will be tweaked just so, and some things will be left out entirely. Yes, this is six years later than the last episode. Yes, Shran's daughter's been kidnapped. However... Riker and Troi from TNG will not be making an appearance (or will they?). Will Trip still be alive at the end? Summary
A year has passed since Rhona Sunsong, the Warrior of Light, has ended her relationship with Aymeric after the harrowing events at the Ghimlyt Dark. Now, as the Scions prepare for their greatest battle, Rhona receives a call for aid from Ishgard - along with a letter from Aymeric. Torn between her feelings, she travels to the Holy See to help with the hunt for Profane Fafnir, a blasphemy taking the shape of a fearsome dragon.
Rhona has sworn to herself to keep Aymeric at arm's length, even if he hated her for breaking his heart. She would pay any price if it only meant he was safe from the disasters that always followed on her heels.
