He wasn’t getting what she was hinting at, so she decided to be a bit more direct.
“No, Erend, I’m frustrated.” She couldn’t help the way her cheeks flamed with embarrassment as she gave him a pointed look, her eyebrows rose.
He seemed to get what she was talking about just as he’d decided to take a sip of his ale, where he promptly choked on his drink and set it down with a heavy thud, coughing and spluttering painfully.
“O-Oh…”
What followed was the way his entire face turned a vivid red, starting at his cheeks and extending to the tips of his ears. Aloy could only watch with her mouth open as he closed a fist and thumped at his throat, swallowing loudly and running a shaky hand through his mohawk.
“B-By the forge, warn a guy would ya?” He wheezed, and heat crawled down his neck.

A quick stop at a merchant turns interesting as the old stitcher offers Aloy a special kind of incense. One that promises to lift her spirits and bring her a very well deserved rest, all under the quirky slogan that it might also “Show her what her soul desires most.”
