Jason didn’t know what was going on but he was really very pissed that there was another kid with a y-shaped scar on their chest and eyes that feel like frozen reflections of home. Thankfully, there were suddenly several new targets for his rage and Dick seemed rather more inclined to join Jason than stop him.

Every year, when winter hit and the ice set in on the isle of Berk, illness came with it.
To most of the Vikings, it was annoying - but on their honour and the blood of their ancestors, no one would admit to anything more than a sniffle. Even when the island was full of Vikings with flushed cheeks, a wet cough and fevers that never mixed well with ale and sharp objects. The seasonal illness would make its rounds, and take with it some of the very old, very young, and the frail.
It always seemed to try to take one Viking in particular, the village had deemed him frail since birth when he came into the world too soon and too small, but the illness never claimed Hiccup Haddock. Although, it tried.Bookmarked by Hello_im_new_InTown

Steve could have done a lot more to help him get used to the 21st century, Bucky thinks during the daytime. A heads up about bananas would have been nice, at least, before Steve fucked off to the 1940s to be with Peggy, or whatever. He would go, too. But the past holds nothing for Bucky, not really, even if it would be the past with Steve. So instead he faces the future with Sam.
It consists mainly of not sleeping, nighttime patrols of the tower, and rediscovering Peter Parker.
