Promised herself she would never make it weird, that she would always protect their friendship, that she would be supportive of them (that she would never ask "Why not me?"). And when Mira somehow got pregnant, Zoey was overjoyed, and promised herself she would be the best Aunt and the best best friend any of them could ask for. And she didn't think about what that would mean for the rest of her life. Or whether she would ever fall in love (again). Or whether she would ever get to be a mom.

“Okay, soooo what does that mean?” Zoey asked, looking between them, confused.
“It means,” Celine responded, striding over to Zoey before putting her hand on her shoulder. “That we are basically doing fieldwork on what happens when a demon hybrid discovers themselves.”
“Ewww, please don't say it like that,” Rumi groaned, embarrassed. “You're making it sound like I'm going through heat or something.”
“Don't count your chickens on that just yet,” Celine responded, pointing at her. “That could also be a part of this too.”
OR
Rumi starts her first demon heat, which subsequently causes her to fully transform. Can Zoey and Mira stop her from fucking them senseless? Or will the horniness of the whole situation win them over?

Summary
Rumi’s side profile was just—. Ridiculous. The bridge of her nose dipped just right, lips full, catching soft light from the screen. Her cheekbones did this thing—sharp, clean, sloped in a way that made it hard to look away.
Zoey’s eyes dipped to her mouth. Glossy. Soft. Pink.
Then her head tilted the other way, slow and lazy. Back to Mira.
And—Damn.
Mira’s lashes curled naturally, thick and dark. Her brows were clean. The kind of face that always looked stunning in photos. The kind of face that held focus in silence.
Zoey’s eyes dropped again.
Mira’s lips.
Plump. A little pink. Glossed from that balm she always carried but never let anyone else use.
Huh.
“Hey,” Zoey murmured, her voice low, pulling through the silence like a loose thread, “Have either of you ever had your first kiss?”
Or
Zoey's always been a little too observant for her own good—especially when it came to girls she liked. They were beautiful women, sharp jawlines and high cheekbones, long beautiful lashes, shaped brows, and gorgeous, plump lips—and it hit her just how pretty they both were. Too pretty. So of course, it made sense to ask them if they had their first kiss.
